The Coptic Orthodox Church of Saint Mena in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada aims to live the message of the Kingdom that Christ has established on earth thousands year ago.
Saint John speaks of this message in his book in the gospel saying: 'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.' Our fellowship strives to live the life of Christ on earth, strengthen the beliefs of this transforming message to one another and spread this message to the community.
The Coptic Orthodox Church of Saint Mena belongs to the roots of the Apostolic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, and acknowledge that Saint Mark the Apostle is the founder of their Churches through the heritage and Apostolic evangelization of the Fathers of Alexandria.
